The prime minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, has visited the from Leon cities of The Bañeza and Astorga where it has guaranteed the support of the Government to the projects that have in march both localities. Also, he has announced that in the year 2010 there will be a new Plan of local investment provided with 5.000 million euros.
Before his mayor, José Miguel Palazuelo, and the members of the corporation, the President promised to renew the commitment of the Government in support of the projects that the city has in march, as Pérez Alonso has already done with the Municipal Theater

The draft of funds approved by the Department of Territorial Politics this week amounts to 332.197.636,39 euros corresponding to 1.484 projects. The transferred amount corresponds to 70 % of the budget of awarding of the projects. The remaining quantity will be paid on having finished the work
With this quantity, a whole for 3.177.700.259,74 euros has already been transferred to 6.071 town halls and four unions, to finance 19.964 projects that will occupy 255.625 persons. With the last payment one has come to 64,6 % of financed projects and to 74,8 % of the municipalities.
